| 1972 | Snowmobile manufacturer Alouette is entering the off-road market to offset the seasonality of the snowmobile business. The best-known model is the AX-125 (Enduro/Cross). It was based on a high-quality tubular frame, equipped with a Sachs 1251/6C engine and Italian components (Ceriani, Dell'Orto). Despite good reviews, sales remained low. |
