Rieju acquires the design plans and production rights for the former GasGas enduro models (250cc/300cc 2-stroke) after KTM and Pierer Mobility took over the GasGas brand. Rieju now produces these professional enduro bikes under the name Rieju MR.

Beta Argentina begins assembling Zontes models at its own plant in Tigre. This makes Argentina the first country outside China to receive authorization to assemble Zontes products.

Production of the "old" GasGas Enduro models is being sold to Spanish competitor Rieju, where they will continue to be produced as Rieju MR models. GasGas is switching to the KTM platform. KTM is also acquiring the remaining 40% stake.

Fantic acquires 100% of Minarelli (Motori Minarelli) shares from Yamaha. This means that Fantic will transition from being an engine purchaser to its own engine manufacturer.

Maddii Racing becomes the official factory team for Fantic's return to motocross racing.
