Cagiva's project to start production in Czechia fails due to financial difficulties, and production of the ČZ brand is discontinued.

1993

The motorcycle division of ČZ is being taken over by Italian motorcycle manufacturer Cagiva. The plan is to use the Czech factories to produce new ČZ and Jawa models as well as motorcycles under its own brand.

CZ had also made further improvements to the chassis and increased the angle of the shock absorbers. A strong factory team was able to achieve very good results once again in the World Championship.

1964

Joel Robert becomes the youngest world champion at 21. It is the first world championship for both him and CZ.

Der wachsende Bedarf der Motorradproduktion führte zum Ausbau einer eigenen Grauguss- und Aludruckgussgießerei. Mit der Dämpfung der Motorradproduktion in den achtzigen Jahren stieg die Firma, außer seiner traditionellen Produktion von Ketten, Werkzeugen, Formen, Gussteilen und Bearbeitungsmaschinen auf die Produktion von Autokomponenten Getriebegehäusen und Turbolader um.
